The outdoor dining area provided a lovely ambiance for meals.
I found the background noise from the highway quite bothersome, especially at night. It made it difficult to fully relax or sleep peacefully during my stay. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection was less reliable than expected, which was frustrating while trying to plan my daily outings.

Had a fantastic time at this charming place! The outdoor pool was perfect for cooling off after a long day of hiking, and I loved relaxing in the garden area. The only minor downside was some noise from the highway, but it didn’t take away from the wonderful experience overall—definitely keep your eyes peeled for unique birds during your walks! 🐦

Charming vintage ranch-style guest house with very welcoming hosts. Enjoyed hiking along the Anza Trail and saw a Vermillion Fly Catcher. The only downside was noise from the nearby highway, which might be distracting for light sleepers.

The vintage ranch guest house offers a delightful experience with its welcoming hosts and a charming atmosphere. Breakfast was homemade and featured delicious roasted meats, perfect for starting the day. The lovely property is ideal for a morning stroll along the Anza Trail, where I spotted a Vermilion Flycatcher. However, the noise from the nearby highway can be distracting, and the Wi-Fi connection was unreliable at times. Overall, a nice spot with a few minor issues to consider.

What a treat! The homemade breakfast at Rancho Santa Cruz was a culinary delight, perfectly setting the stage for a day of exploring. I also loved the charming outdoor dining area, where I could soak in the sun while enjoying some local fare. Plus, the property was a fantastic spot for a serene walk along the Anza Trail—spotted a Vermilion Flycatcher, no less!
The only hiccup was a bit of noise from the nearby highway, but truth be told, it just added to the quirky, rustic charm of the place. Everything else was on point, making it hard to focus on that little detail.
